Merry Christmas 2021 from Got A Ukulele

My annual Christmas best wishes from Got A Ukulele. And the glittery uke just had to make the card, didn't it?

Got A Ukulele Christmas

Well.... contrary to what we expected, 2021 proved to be just as challenging as 2020 and it doesn't look like the start of 2022 will be much better over on my shores. But I do hope that weekly uke reviews have kept you entertained during the year regardless. They've certainly helped keep me sane and I hope that for those that scored well they've gone some way towards helping the businesses that depend on selling in these tough times. I'd encourage you to think long and hard about them into the third year of this pandemic and where your money is better spent if you are uke shopping. (Please!)

It's been a great year for uke buyers I think and the lower number of utter trash ukes on the site seem testament to that. As I have said many time through the year, I can't think of a better time to be a buyer when it comes to choice and quality. Some great stuff out there.

(Oh, and yes, I STILL disagree with Alex because I think the aNueNue Color is THE uke of 2021.... oops, I said I wouldn't mention that again.. Sorry Alex - partly joking - thought your top ten was stellar!)

As ever, my huge thanks go out to all those who have supported the website this last year in whatever way (not just donations, but also kind words that mean so much), and also to the brands and stores who have braved the 'Lion's Den' of reviews - I know my readers really appreciate you for doing that too and that you still get the jitters waiting to see the reviews.

By the time 2021 is out there will be 60 reviews on the site for the year - a new record.. (and this was a year I said I would slow down!!)

Here's to a happier and safer 2022, more normal times ahead.... oh, and more uke reviews!

Enjoy your holiday break however you may choose to do it.

Take care, stay safe and see you all soon!

Please Help Keep This Site Going!

If you enjoy this blog, donations are welcomed to allow me to invest more time in bringing you ukulele articles. Aside from the Google ads, I don't get paid to write this blog and for reasons of impartiality a not sponsored by brands or stores. Your donations all go back into the site to allow me to keep bringing you reviews, and in the end the ukuleles acquired are given to local schools and charities.
