Filmed at a Ukulele Society Of Great Britain meet at Digswell, it features early UOGB members such as Jo Brindley, Andy Astle and uke luthier Marshall Stapleton, but also current members George Hinchcliffe and Kitty Lux too. I think it's an absolute delight and a nice look back at the early beginnings of this much loved group.
Enjoy. (and you thought the current popularity of the uke is a recent thing??)

Ukulele Orchestra Of Great Britain - Flat Foot Floogie
Ok, so this old uke vid has done the rounds on more than one occasion, but I was reminded of it again recently - figured it needed revisiting. A VERY early Ukulele Orchestra Of Great Britain from way back when in 1989!

Friends Of Old Puppy - Am I Blue?
Just a random search of ukulele videos on YouTube brought this up. If you like a bit of jazz, this may be up your street. I think it's rather nice. They are called The Friends Of Old Puppy Band.
A pair of Risa uke solids, plus drums and the coolest washtub bass I have seen!

RIP Dave Brubeck - Take Five
It was with sadness I learned today about the passing of Dave Brubeck. RIP indeed.
It reminded me of the video below. In it you can see Alice and Matt from the Malbank Ukulele Club - a group of school goers who play ukulele and jam with the N'Ukes every Sunday and on some gigs too.
Their playing leaves us to shame, and we have seen them perform this on our Sunday jam sessions several times. For a ukulele group it seemed a fitting tribute to the legend.
