A somewhat trying year for me, but one that is drawing to a close now in festive spirit. So now a time for me, and the rest of you, to spend quality days with friends, loved ones and family. Hopefully with a ukulele in hand!
A less busy ukulele year for me this year too (as you know) but still managed to bring you 28 ukulele reviews, including some real crackers!
I've already told you my uke of the year (a reminder - the Kala Pan Pacific Soprano Ukulele - hanging on my tree here!), but there were so many others on the list in 2025 too that deserve a mention... The Millar Yushan was a fave, as was this 'Ilikai from my favourite uke brand. The Flight NU500 series ukes came along which are superb value too. And doing Got A Ukulele allows me to discover hand made stuff that isn't quite the norm so a huge hat tip this year to Will Grove-White for the fabulous 'Wonkylele' and to Gustaf Wettermark for this frankly wonderful sub soprano at Bagarmossens. There were MANY others too.
It continues to be a great time to be a uker! The uke world continues to surprise, develop, re-invent and bring a lot of joy to people. Maybe I'll get more time to be on it myself later in 2026.
