Ukulele News - 16 January 2012

Another week, another round up of ukulele news from around the world.  This week seems to have a theme of positive thought and remembrance.  Nice!

Hundreds get together to play and remember the life of Bill Tapia.

Apparently, Jake Shimabukuro is truly the giant of the ukulele

If my wife bought me one of these as a Valentines gift, I would be truly over the moon!

More use of the ukulele for positive action in Christchurch, NZ.

Live near Helpston? Want to know more about George Formby? Then Get along

I'm a sucker for a piece about a remote ukulele band - how about the St John's Ukulele Orchestra, from Newfoundland and Labrador in far north eastern Canada?

More news next week!
