The Ukeladybirds

We’re an acoustic duo using ukulele, guitar and bass-ukulele with vocals to perform pop and rock covers in our own unique style. We play a pleasantly surprising and upbeat mix including Lady Gaga, Girls Aloud, All Saints, Black eyed Peas, Christina Aguilera, Oasis and Gwen Stefani to name but a few.

The duo comprises Yvette Merga and Carri Westgarth, two research scientists brought together by a shared love of music and ukuleles. We’re based in Wirral and Warrington and have been playing together for just over a year.

Starting off playing at house parties for friends, we’ve recently branched out to play at weddings and events, as well as open mic and acoustic nights around the North West.
