I'm no musical expert but got an Alic on the basis of your review and boy, I'm delighted with it. It has great volume, sound and tone and as far as I'm concerned 'knocks spots' of many far more expensive Ukes. I purchase from Omega Music - a great company to deal with. I agree Jim & CO have done a lot for ukuleles but it is about time they see a bit of competition. They definitely have sold enough to get a return on investment and then some!
