But have to agree with you that the geared tuners (at least they used closed tunes on this model) don't look great on the really nice shaped headstock. I was so disappointed, I thought it looked cheap and tacky "in the flesh" - certainly not vintage; and I wasn't in love with the sound either (OK, I'm no expert there).
