I'm Dreaming Of A White Christmas - Ukulele Chords

A great ukulele tune for Christmas time!

(G) I’m dreaming of a (Am) white (D) Christmas,

(C) Just like the (D) ones I used to (G) know,

Where the tree tops (G7) glisten and (C) children (Cm) listen,
To (G) hear (Em) sleigh bells in the (Am) snow. (D)

(G) I’m dreaming of a (Am) white (D) Christmas,
(C)
With every (D) Christmas card I (G) write,

May your days be (G7) merry and (C) bright (Cm)

And may (G) all your (Am) Christmasses (D) be (G) white. (D)

(G) I’m dreaming of a (Am) white (D) Christmas,
(C)
Just like the (D) ones I used to (G) know,

Where the tree tops (G7) glisten and (C) children (Cm) listen,
To (G) hear (Em) sleigh bells in the (Am) snow. (D)

(G) I’m dreaming of a (Am) white (D) Christmas,
(C)
With every (D) Christmas card I (G) write,

May your days be (G7) merry and (C) bright (Cm)

And may (G) all your (Am) Christmasses (D) be (G) white.

  1. This is GREAT! Thank you so much:) Try providing the strumming pattern next time, I'm not complaining for this one because I already know it (down, down, up, down, up, down, up -- in 4 counts). Keep it going!:D

  2. Not sure i agree with you. I'm not a fan of strum patterns in most cases. The reasons being

    1. This song was not written for uke, so any strumming pattern is someone else's arrangement - who says they are right?

2 . There are loads of versions of this song, from the slow, to the fast doo wap versions. Which pattern applies?

I prefer to just experiment and find my own sound!

  3. I love this! My kids like playing Christmas songs on their uke when we wake up, and this one is amazingly easy, but it sounds really good when you have it mastered. Thanks!

  4. I love this i looked at the sheet music and it took me some time to figure it out but this gave me five minutes to learn it. Of course i transposed it to five keys higher but it's really great!
